Performance à la 37ᵉ semaine de grossesse. Dans une danse minimaliste, l’artiste berce son bébé par des oscillations pelviennes dans différentes postures. En lien avec le livre “On accouchera dans le plaisir”, elle stimule le plaisir physique pour le propager à son bébé. Les mouvements et positions sont aussi une préparation à l’accouchement.
Le masque évoque une divinité enceinte dans laquelle toute maternité peut se percevoir.
Dans ce rite de passage, l’artiste convoque la foi dans le vivant, dans la réminiscence du lien utérin qui nous rassemble tou.t.e.s. Elle invoque la société horizontale et solidaire, le Féminin Sauvage et Sacré blotti en nous tou.t.e.s, la mère-nature.
Un autel est installé à l’entrée de la pièce, où les visiteur-euses sont invité-es à y déposer une offrande. La plupart sont des proches de l’artiste. Cette performance a été réalisée dans une intimité choisie.

Performance at the 37th week of pregnancy. In a minimalist dance, the artist rocks her baby through pelvic oscillations in various postures. Inspired by the book “On accouchera dans le plaisir” (“We Will Give Birth in Pleasure”), she awakens physical pleasure to share it with her baby. The movements and positions also serve as a preparation for childbirth.
The mask evokes a pregnant deity, a vessel through which all forms of motherhood can be perceived.
In this rite of passage, the artist summons faith in the living — in the remembrance of the uterine bond that unites us all. She invokes a horizontal and caring society, the Wild and Sacred Feminine nestled within each of us, and Mother Nature herself.
An altar is placed at the entrance of the room, where visitors are invited to leave an offering. Most of them are close to the artist. This performance took place in a chosen intimacy.
